Joseph M. D’Avella currently owns Joseph M. D’Avella CPA, after previously serving for 15 years as a partner with the accounting and advisory firm Mazars USA, LLP. Prior to joining Mazars, he was a partner with the accounting and advisory firm Lipman, Zelznick and Witkowski PC for six years. During his years with Mazars USA, LLP Joseph has had various responsibilities including being the sector leader of the professional service group that composes of law firms, medical practices, and engineering firms. In addition, he is involved in providing consulting and audit services to the construction industry. Joseph has consulted his clients in their tax planning, merger and acquisitions, and cost management planning. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of their tax division group, and is a member of the State of New Jersey CPA Society. He graduated from Saint Peter’s College (now Saint Peter’s University) and was a member of their Accounting Honors Program. Joseph resides in Howell, New Jersey with his wife and daughter.
