Board of Directors

The PAN Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, which is comprised of experts and seasoned leaders from the healthcare, medical, financial, and legal fields. The Board includes 14 members who are elected for a three-year term and can serve for a maximum of six years.

The Board is responsible for establishing long-term strategy, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, and monitoring organizational effectiveness. The Board also oversees and approves PAN Foundation’s disease funds and Compliance Program.

Leadership

The PAN Foundation’s leadership team is a group of dedicated professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise in healthcare and program delivery, organizational financial management, compliance, fundraising, advocacy and public policy, health equity, information technology, and more. They share the goal of improving healthcare access and affordability for underserved communities. Together, this dynamic team works tirelessly to advance the organization’s vision of a healthier and more equitable nation.

Compliance Program

We believe that rigorous compliance and ethical behavior are essential to safeguarding trust with our patients, healthcare providers, and donors. As part of our organizational commitment to operating in a compliant and ethical manner, PAN Foundation maintains a rigorous Compliance Program with independent monitoring and oversight.

The PAN Foundation’s Compliance Program is overseen by the Board of Directors’ Audit, Risk Oversight, and Compliance Committee and implemented by our Compliance Office, led by a Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer.

Code of Conduct and Ethics

The Code of Conduct and Ethics helps PAN Foundation put its values into practice and ensures that PAN Foundation meets its compliance goals in today’s business and healthcare environment. The Code of Conduct and Ethics is designed to provide general guidance and supplement the policies and procedures adopted by PAN Foundation.

This means that contributions made to the PAN Foundation are tax-deductible for donors, and our organization is exempt from paying federal income tax.
