PAN joins letter endorsing reintroduction of HELP Copays Act

The PAN Foundation and nearly 90 national patient and provider advocacy organizations submitted a letter of appreciation to the Congressional representatives who reintroduced the Help Ensure Lower Patient (HELP) Copays Act. The HELP Copays Act (H.R. 6423) would require insurers and pharmacy benefit managers to count all payments, including copay assistance, received on behalf of patients toward their annual deductibles and out-of-pocket limits. The act would help make necessary and life-saving prescription medications more affordable for patients with rare, serious, and chronic conditions.
