New partnership with the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy

The PAN Foundation and the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy today announced they are joining forces to ensure that all patients have access to the life-saving medications they need.

As a member organization of the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP), PAN will expand its outreach efforts and continue working with specialty pharmacies and other members around the country to better serve patients living with life-threatening, chronic, and rare conditions. A specialty pharmacy is a state-licensed pharmacy that provides medications for people with serious health conditions requiring complex therapies.

“We are thrilled to become a member organization of NASP, which will enable us to connect with even more organizations who are serving underinsured patients,” said PAN Vice President of Medical Affairs Ayesha Azam. “Like PAN, NASP is a patient-first organization, and we look forward to working together to improve access to care and achieve better health outcomes for the people we serve.”

“We are excited to welcome the PAN Foundation as a NASP corporate member,” said NASP President and CEO Sheila M. Arquette. “We are aligned in our mission to ensure that patients have access to their medications and receive care and support from specialty pharmacies to manage complex specialty conditions.”
