New follicular lymphoma fund opens

The PAN Foundation today is proud to open a new follicular lymphoma fund, providing up to $4,600 per year to help eligible patients pay for out-of-pocket deductible, copay, and coinsurance costs.

Follicular lymphoma, also known as follicle center lymphoma or nodular lymphoma, is a common type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a slow-growing cancer, which affects the body’s immune system. It may appear in your lymph nodes, bone marrow, or other organs.

The American Cancer Society estimates that follicular lymphoma accounts for about one in five lymphoma cases in the United States.

“Follicular lymphoma places a high out-of-pocket burden on both the person diagnosed and their loved ones. A cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming, and we’re proud to open this new fund to help more people access treatment,” said PAN Foundation President and CEO Kevin L. Hagan. “We also want to thank our incredible donors, whose generosity made this new financial assistance program possible.”

Patients who qualify are eligible to receive $4,600 in financial assistance to pay for the deductibles, copays, and coinsurance costs associated with their treatment for follicular lymphoma.
