TotalAssist fund notifications

Sign up to get notified when a TotalAssist fund opens, starting July 1, 2026

Sign up now for TotalAssist notifications

With the new TotalAssist program launching July 1, 2026, we will offer enrollments on a first-come, first-served basis. We offer a user-friendly TotalAssist fund notification system to email, text, and/or call you when a fund opens. We’re committed to ensuring you receive timely fund notifications for easier, faster access to the help you need.

How it works:

  • Select how you prefer to receive notifications: by email, SMS text, and/or automated phone call*. You can select one or multiple options.
  • Receive notifications for one fund, multiple funds, or all funds.
  • Update your settings and preferences at any time.
  • Unsubscribe at any time.

*Disclaimer: Fund opening notifications are sent immediately to registered users. There may be variability in the time it takes to receive a fund notification based on a user’s internet or service provider quality or other network relay delays that impact message delivery. Automated phone call notifications are slightly delayed as compared to email or SMS text notifications. Message and data rates may apply.

Note: This does not replace FundFinder, which helps people track more than 200 patient assistance funds across eight charitable organizations. We will continue to operate FundFinder moving forward.

Disease fund wait lists will no longer operate

Once TotalAssist launches on July 1, we will no longer operate disease fund wait lists. Instead, you can sign up to receive timely fund notifications when a fund opens. You can sign up now for those notifications–and explore our 140+ TotalAssist funds.

If you are currently on a PAN wait list

If you are currently on a disease fund wait list for a PAN grant, you will be automatically signed up for the fund notifications by email when your specific TotalAssist disease fund opens. We encourage you to update your communication and disease fund preferences at totalassist.org/notify; click “Manage your subscription.”

If your wait list opens before July 1, 2026

If you are currently on a wait list, and your fund opens to the wait list before July 1, you will receive an email notifying you that your fund is open to the wait list and you can apply. The process in this scenario remains the same as before:

  • That email will contain the patient’s name, a unique wait list ID number, and a unique link to the PAN portal. The ID number and link are unique to each person and cannot be used for other patients.
  • You will have two (2) business days to apply online using the unique link in the email, or by phone. After two (2) business days, applications for the wait list are closed.

We provide grants in the order that people originally joined the wait list, not the order that they submitted their application. For example, if an eligible person was the first person to sign up for the wait list but is the last to apply during the two-day wait list period, they will get the first grant awarded.

For providers: enrolling multiple patients

If you do not have the wait list email or are applying for multiple patients, you can also find their wait list IDs in your portal account. Log in to your portal and go to the “Disease Fund Wait List” tab.

Search for your disease fund. Once you find the fund, there is the “Number of Patients on the Wait List” column next to the name of the disease fund. That number indicates the number of patients that your practice has signed up for wait list. Click on “View List” to find the full list of patients associated with your practice that have been signed up for that fund’s wait list.

FundFinder

You can also sign up for a FundFinder account. Making an account lets you browse a list of over 200 financial assistance programs, including the PAN Foundation. You can then follow any fund you want to get notified as soon as assistance is available.
