Bill Allen has lived with prostate cancer since 2004, which has resulted in surgeries, radiation treatment, bone scans, and white blood cell transfusions, among other treatments. Before retirement in 2013, Bill enjoyed a 40-year career with the Travelers Insurance Company. Today, he spends his spare time gardening, golfing, line dancing, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
I know what it’s like to navigate a complex health condition, like prostate cancer, while living on a fixed income. By serving on the PAN Foundation’s Patient and Family Advisory Council, I hope to help other patients like me.
