About the Disease

Multiple myeloma, also known as Kahler’s disease and myelomatosis, is a type of a cancer that causes plasma cells to accumulate in the bone marrow, crowding out healthy cells. It affects the circulatory system. Subtypes include plasma cell leukemia, an aggressive form of multiple myeloma.
