The PAN Foundation welcomes Anna McKean, CEO of Master Center for Addiction Medicine, to its Board of Directors

The PAN Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Anna McKean to its Board of Directors. Anna McKean currently serves as the CEO of Master Center for Addiction Medicine, where she leads the growth and development of high-quality outpatient services for people experiencing addiction in Virginia and beyond.

“We are thrilled to welcome Anna McKean to PAN’s Board of Directors,” said Board Chair Deanna Banks. “Anna has an impressive track record of crafting long-term growth strategies and propelling innovation for companies within the health sector. We look forward to leveraging her expertise to advance PAN’s mission of helping underinsured patients access their critical medications.” 

McKean has over 20 years of executive leadership and strategic planning experience in various healthcare settings. Prior to joining the Master Center for Addiction Medicine, she led a consulting practice at KPMG and provided advisory services through her firm, Aviant Health. McKean also served in leadership roles at early-stage growth companies in the health sector, including Health Diagnostic Laboratory. There she led a 200-person team that delivered population health improvement programs to employers and health systems, realizing 100 percent growth in three consecutive years. 

In addition to positively impacting the advanced diagnostics industry, McKean’s past expertise includes serving as president and chief operating officer at PartnerMD, a pioneer in concierge medicine. Under her leadership, PartnerMD grew from a single physician practice to a sophisticated business operation with multiple locations and more than 4,000 clients between 2004 and 2010.

McKean holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Richmond and a master’s in business administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She serves on the board of two nonprofit organizations and chairs the hospital integration committee for the Central Virginia Overdose Work Group.
