If you are a current PAN grant recipient, you may be eligible to apply for additional funding, or to renew your grant.
You can apply for additional funding, up to the fund’s yearly maximum, for your current grant within the same initial 12-month grant eligibility period if you run out of funds and your balance is $0. Additional funding applies only to copay and health insurance premium grants.
You can renew your grant for another year within 30 days of the end of your initial 12-month eligibility period to start a new 12-month eligibility period if the fund is open. Renewal grants apply to all types of PAN grants: copay, health insurance premium, and transportation.
Additional funding
Additional funding is only applicable to copay and health insurance premium grants.
If your current PAN grant balance is $0 but you need more money to pay for medication before your 12-month eligibility period ends, you can apply for additional funding for yourself or for your patient if the fund is open. If approved, you will be able to use the additional funds during the rest of your eligibility period.
Eligibility
To qualify, your current grant balance must be $0, and to apply, the disease fund must be open. Check the disease fund status first.
If the disease fund is closed, join the wait list so you can be notified when funding is available. When you receive the wait list confirmation email, please note your wait list ID number—you will need this when you apply for additional funding.
When to apply
You must apply for additional funding while your initial 12-month eligibility period is still active and has not ended yet.
How to apply
The easiest and fastest way to apply for additional funding is to log in to your PAN portal account and apply online anytime. You can also apply by phone by calling 1-866-316-7263 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET.
