The PAN Foundation is scaling its nationwide educational campaign to empower patients and healthcare professionals with the knowledge needed about recent Medicare Part D reforms and how they could impact healthcare access and affordability.
In particular, the campaign focuses on two key Medicare reforms—a Medicare Part D cap and the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan. This educational initiative will actively support:
Consistent treatment utilization and better health outcomes by ensuring patients have the knowledge and resources they need to start and stay on their recommended treatment.
Policy advancements for Medicare beneficiaries, including expanding coverage for essential dental, hearing, and vision benefits.
Impact-to-date
Since the PAN Foundation launched its Medicare Part D reforms educational initiative in October 2024, we’ve reached millions of people, including:
58+ million people reached through PAN’s national radio tour, with 12 million reached through PAN’s Spanish language audio news release.
100,000+ visits to PAN’s Medicare reforms educational resource center webpages (both in English and Spanish).
1,183 views of PAN’s English and Spanish language animated explainer videos on YouTube.
1,841 live attendees for PAN’s Medicare reforms educational webinar.
While our campaign made a meaningful difference, continued education and awareness gaps underscore the need for an expansion of these educational efforts. According to PAN’s Center for Patient Research, less than half (40 percent) of those surveyed in early 2025 were aware of the reforms. With your support, we can expand upon this initiative to reach even more people and continue to increase awareness and understanding.
