Mia Harmon, JD serves as the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer of the PAN Foundation, leading oversight and implementation of the organization’s compliance and privacy programs and responsible for fostering a culture where ethical and compliant behavior is practiced throughout the organization. She brings more than a decade of diverse experience in healthcare compliance and operations, healthcare privacy, and law.
Mia previously served as Chief Compliance Officer for CHE Behavioral Health Sciences, a multi-specialty, clinic-based group of licensed professionals dedicated to increasing access to mental health services and reducing the stigma of mental health conditions. Prior to that role, she spent several years in a contracted role as Physician Practice Compliance Officer with Tenet Physician Resources. She also held various compliance roles with companies like D4C Dental Brands, Inc., WellStar Health System, and Gwinnett Medical Center.
She holds a JD from the University of Arkansas—Fayetteville and a bachelor’s degree in human communication studies and legal communications from Howard University. She also holds the Certified in Healthcare Compliance and Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance certifications from the Health Care Compliance Association.
