Kim Baich serves as the Chief, Diversity & Health Equity Officer of the PAN Foundation. In this role, she is responsible for working across PAN to embed diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and ensure a sense of belonging in all that we do. In addition, she is responsible for implementing health equity principles across PAN’s policies, processes, and practices to ensure underrepresented patient populations have access to the care they need and deserve.
Baich brings more than 20 years of experience as a bridge builder, collaborate, and innovator of programs and partnerships. She’s previously held positions in diversity, alternative dispute resolution, corporate social responsibility, public affairs and community engagement, corporate ethics and compliance, and program management across all sectors.
Most recently with General Dynamics Information Technology, as part of the Healthcare Integrated General Ledger Accounting System (HIGLAS) program in support of the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Baich focused on ensuring accessibility of all HIGLAS applications and tools for people with differing abilities. She previously built sustainable Diversity Development and Corporate Social Responsibility programs at U.S. Foodservice, which still thrive today. And as a former vice president at Giant Food of Landover, MD, she leveraged expertise of in-house nutritionists to design and implement health education and awareness programs for children in food deserts and forged local partnerships with the YMCA and others to address nutrition and wellness challenges in children within predominately urban communities.
