The PAN Foundation applauded the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for making advancing health equity one of its strategic pillars. Expanding access to medically necessary dental services and preventive health services is essential to achieving that goal. PAN provided comments on several provisions within the 2025 Physician Fee Schedule Proposed Rule, including the proposed extension of telehealth flexibilities, Medicare payment clarification on medically necessary dental and oral health services, and Medicare Part B payment for preventive services.
