The PAN Foundation’s Chief Mission Officer, Amy Niles, joined the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) on a recent episode of their PH Insights podcast to discuss upcoming Medicare reforms and their potential impact on patient access and affordability.

The PH Insights podcast works to amplify the voices of the pulmonary hypertension community through meaningful conversations with patients, healthcare professionals, and other members. This month, Niles joined host, Jaeger Spratt of the PHA, and Kim Everett, a patient enrolled in Medicare living with pulmonary hypertension and lupus.

Niles highlighted the positive impact these Medicare reforms can have for people with Medicare and the importance of understanding and researching which Medicare plan is the right fit for your individual needs. “These are reforms we’ve long advocated for at PAN,” said Niles, “and now we’re turning our attention to educating patients and healthcare providers about them.”
