PAN and 53 other organizations submit letter in support of the Increasing Medication Access for Seniors Act

Information about this website: Following the March 2026 merger of Patient Advocate Foundation and the PAN Foundation, this website is now a part of Patient Advocate Foundation and remains active during our website transition.

Where to find information during our transition:

The PAN Foundation joined a letter with 54 patient advocacy and healthcare organizations to Representative Jennifer Kiggans to express support for the Increasing Medication Access for Seniors Act.

The Increasing Medication Access for Seniors Act importantly directs the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to report to Congress on uptake of the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan, the methods by which CMS is educating beneficiaries about the program, and outreach efforts with stakeholders such as provider associations and societies, patient and consumer advocacy groups, pharmacy benefit managers, pharmacies, and health insurance providers. This information is crucial to ensure the program is implemented as Congress intended.
