Although we don’t know everything about the novel coronavirus, one thing is abundantly clear: COVID-19 has a disproportionate impact on older adults.
As we try to protect the health of older Americans during this unprecedented crisis, we must also remember that COVID-19 poses more than just a medical threat. The PAN Foundation’s President and CEO Dan Klein co-wrote an opinion piece with the National Council of Aging CEO James Firman that recently appeared in Morning Consult to discuss how COVID-19 presents enormous challenges for older Americans.
