The pandemic has been especially hard on Medicare beneficiaries, putting an added burden on an already strained population. This opinion article, published in The Hill last week, focuses on what Congress can do to help ease the burden on seniors and people living with disabilities: swiftly pass legislation that puts an annual cap on out-of-pocket prescription costs and smooths those costs throughout the benefit year.
Amy Niles, Executive Vice President at the PAN Foundation, co-authored this opinion piece with Michael Ward, Vice President of Public Policy at the Alliance for Aging Research.
