Monique Lucas

Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation

Monique Lucas is PAN’s Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation. She focuses on enhancing PAN’s mission in expanding access to healthcare.

Prior to joining the PAN Foundation, Monique spent several years developing care management and population healthcare programs. Monique is a registered nurse and is a board-certified care manager and certified in care coordination and transition management.

Throughout her career, Monique has worked with some of the most innovative players in healthcare today. She was a pioneer in the development of one of the nation’s largest patient-centered medical home programs and has built and implemented various team-based models with a value-based approach in the primary care and behavioral health settings.

Most recently, Monique led the design and implementation the first Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in North Carolina, where she developed an integrated model of care that provides holistic wraparound care for patients most in need.

Monique lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband and 14 two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
