André D. Harrell serves as Chief Growth Officer of the PAN Foundation, leading business development initiatives and developing strategic relationships to support the organization’s mission of expanding access to healthcare and removing barriers to health.
André brings several decades of experience leading successful revenue business development initiatives, strategic market entries, and partnership strategies in the healthcare corporate and nonprofit sectors.
Before joining the PAN Foundation, André spent seven years as a commercial business advisor at McKinsey & Company, where he advised clients in the healthcare, consumer products, and chemical industries and developed strategies around venture capital, portfolio management, pricing and more. Prior to his tenure at McKinsey & Company, André served as chief commercial officer at Norbrook, a veterinary pharmaceutical company based in Ireland, where he led a 250-member global team across 12 countries and built best-in-class business strategies that increased market share and revenue for the company.
André started his career in the life sciences, medical devices, and biotech sectors with responsibilities in business development, marketing, sales and alliance management, and finance. He spent close to 20 years at Johnson & Johnson developing his commercial skill set and then also worked at Novo Nordisk, where he built and led its sales operations infrastructure.
André has long held a passion for the nonprofit sector and has served on the Board of Directors for multiple nonprofit organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, ARTZ Philadelphia, Institute for Philanthropic Excellence, and SCORE Association.
André holds a dual Bachelor of Applied Arts in marketing communication and philosophy from Central Michigan University.
