Study: Millions of cancer survivors put off care

A new study released Monday by the American Cancer Society shows that millions of cancer patients go without needed treatments every year due to financial concerns. According to an Twin Cities Press article Study: Millions of cancer survivors put off care, cancer survivors under 65 were almost twice as likely to say they had not received treatments they needed in the previous year because they couldn't afford it.
