Fund Status

Waitlist – Funding is not currently available for both new and renewal patients.  Patients who meet all eligibility criteria and have been approved are placed on a waitlist and receive assistance once funding becomes available.  Although they’re not guaranteed assistance, we do continue to accept and process patient applications.

Maximum Award Level

$ 3,500 per year

Eligibility Criteria

Patient should be insured and insurance must cover the medication for which patient seeks assistance.
The medication must fight the disease directly.
Patient must be a legal US resident.
Patient’s income must fall below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Information About the Disease

Plaque psoriasis is the most prevalent form of psoriasis, which is a chronic disease of the immune system that varies from person to person, both in severity and how it responds to treatment.  About 80 percent of those who have psoriasis have this type. It is characterized by raised, inflamed, red lesions covered by a silvery white scale. It is typically found on the elbows, knees, scalp and lower back.
