Washington, D.C., April 9, 2012 – Patient Access Network Foundation (PAN) is participating in the 2012 National Comprehensive Cancer Network's (NCCN) Virtual Reimbursement Resource Room. The goal of the resource is to help clinicians and others working with patients who have cancer "mitigate reimbursement challenges." This online tool links to PAN and other organizations offering reimbursement assistance within a large number of specific cancers. http://www.nccn.org/reimbursement_resource_room/default.asp
PAN's mission is to help underinsured patients access lifesaving medications through forty-one specific disease categories. PAN's goal is to make certain that underinsured people have equal access to innovative therapies.
NCCN's Virtual Reimbursement Resource Room is promoted to NCCN's annual conference attendees, readers of NCCN eBulletin, NCCN's cancer case manager/medical directors program attendees, and other registered users of NCCN.org.
